Create an AccountWhen it comes to kitting out a scooter, people tend to focus on the deck more than anything else; the bar, however, defines the aesthetics and performance of your scooter much like the deck.
Choosing the right bar can be tricky given that they come in different shapes, sizes, brands, materials and colours. It’s important to know how the bar is going to affect the performance of your pro scooter with a couple of easy details; one size doesn’t fit all and you don’t want to be someone who learns that the hard way.

At Skate Connection, we stock a variety of the highest quality scooter bars for you to choose from, including the sought after Envy Reaper Bars. When we started stocking pro scooter equipment, we knew that we simply had to sell the Envy Reaper Bars online and in our showrooms, as these bars are incredibly well made, of expert quality and super light. These qualities make these bars some of the best scooter bars in the world and we are extremely proud to be able to offer them to our rad clients all over Australia.
When choosing the right bars for your scooter, there are a couple of things you should consider:
There are a variety of scooter bar materials that differ in weight and price, but the majority of bars are stainless steel. This is a good choice for bars as it’s sturdy, inexpensive and won’t rust. The only disadvantage is that they are relatively heavy, which can affect the lift you get on tricks like ramping or quarter pipe. Chrome alloy bars are an excellent combination of strength and lightness but can be expensive. Aluminium bars are the ultimate lightweight bars and are excellent for tricks but lack in strength somewhat.
Although pretty much any kind of bar can be added to your pro scooter, the most common types of bars are T-bars and Y-bars. We have both these kinds of bars in our Envy reaper bars for sale range. Most people with pro scooters have both T and Y-bars, as they are interchangeable; the size and type of bar you choose really is dependant on what you feel most comfortable with on your scooter. You can get a standard size or oversized bars; most scooters will come with the standard sized bars, but if your really want to personalise your scooter - get an oversized bar and it can be cut to the perfect size for your particular needs.
